Super Bowl XLVII | Yes our stylist LOVES football

Are you ready from some football? The Minnesota Vikings may not have made it to the big game this year but we can still celebrate.  Whether you’ll be watching the action on the field or counting down the minutes till the next commercial or halftime show we scoured the web for some Super Simple Sweet Super Bowl Eats for this Sunday (say that 3 times fast.)

Super Bowl Food

Buffalo Chicken Cups

You will need:
12 oz of cooked chicken
3oz of crumbled blue cheese
1/4 cup of wing sauce (we like Franks Red Hot)
½ cup of softened cream cheese
24 wonton wrappers
Mini cupcake pan (you could use a standard cupcake pan as well)

How to:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place chicken and blue cheese in a small bowl and set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese and hot wing sauce.
Pour the chicken and blue cheese into this bowl and mix well.
Spray mini muffin tin and insert wrappers to form a small cup.
Bake 5 minutes in the oven. Allow wrappers to cool.
Fill each wrapper 2/4 of the way with the mixture, add more cheese if you like.
Bake for 10 minutes or until the wrappers are golden brown.

Super Bowl FoodDeviled Eggs

You will need:
1 dozen hard cooked eggs, peeled
½ cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons mango chutney
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
Sliced chives

How to:
Cut eggs in half lengthwise; carefully remove yolks.
Mash yolks; stir in mayonnaise, chutney, and red pepper until blended.
Spoon yolk mixture evenly into egg white halves.
Sprinkle evenly with desired amount of salt.
Garnish, if desired.
Chill until ready to serve.

Kickoff Pizza

You will need:
19 slices Pepperoni
1 Frozen Cheese Pizza
1 cheese singles, cut into strips

How to:
Arrange pepperoni slices in football shape on top of pizza.
Bake pizza as directed on package
Arrange strips of cheese on center of pepperoni for the football lacings.

Super Bowl Food

Frosted Football Cookies

You will need:
1 pouch peanut butter cookie mix (Oil, water and egg)
1 container chocolate frosting
¼ cup creamy peanut butter
1 tube white decorating cookie icing

How to:
Make cookie dough as directed on package.
Shape dough into 1½-inch balls.
Place on un-greased cookie sheets (I like to use parchment paper or a baking mat.)
Press each ball into ovals, ¼ inch thick.
Bake at 375  for 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown around the edges.
Cool and place on cooling racks.
In a small bowl, stir chocolate frosting and peanut butter until blended.
Spread frosting over cookies and pipe laces with the white frosting.
